Valentine’s Day was last Tuesday. It’s a time to show love and compassion to the ones we care about or an excuse to stuff your face with chocolates. Whether you have money to spend or need a cheap idea for next year, check out what these Saints had planned.
Pictured left: Darrin Bosco, freshman, bought roses for his girlfriend. “I have to work on Valentine’s, so we are celebrating early. We are going to Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse in Jacksonville. I am having a vase of roses delivered to the restaurant,” he said.
Pictured right: Students Shelby Clark and Griffin Torrey pose with a rose he just surprised her with. “He won’t tell me what we are doing!” she said.

Flagler seniors and longtime friends Amie Groff and Cameron Cummings spent their Valentine’s morning at The Kookaburra. The Kookaburra offered a Valentines’s Day deal for two. “Our day starts with a Kookaburra date and ends with scary movies, Chinese food and friends,” they said.
Sophomores Mairibeth Colon and Michelle Canizalez celebrated this past weekend. “I surprised her with a hotel and Universal trip in Orlando,” Colon said. The couple has been dating for almost two years.
Asher and Mac celebrated their day by giving out valentine’s to students all across Flagler campus. Mac learned a new Bible verse for the holiday which he could recite by memory. “We came to play on the lawn and hand out candy and valentine’s to Flagler students and staff,” the two brothers said.
“I think we are going downtown to Barley Republic for $5 burgers, then probably to the movies to see “Split”. “But someone will have to watch our new dog,” Courtney Cunningham said.
