Jake Sulzer finds out the experiences Nadia Ramoutar, the writer, and H. James Gilmore, the director, had making the film “Happy Talk.” The film premiers Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

On Saturday, Jan., 27, Flagler College will premiere a screening of the narrative comedy “Happy Talk” at the Flagler College Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
Written by Communication Assistant Professor Nadia Ramoutar and directed by Associate Professor Jim Gilmore this is a delightful and thought-provoking comedy you won’t want to miss.
Sit and Talk with Jake
Local band, The Showdown District, is on the rise. Recently, the band was hand picked by Illumina Records to be part of a compilation CD that will be sold nationally.
Comprised of four long-time friends, the band has incredible chemistry that leads to its catchy laid-back sound. Jake Sulzer sat down with the group at the Lightner Museum to discuss their CD “Welcome to Lincolnville” and their upcoming shows in Orlando and Jacksonville.

Flagler College’s dance team, “The Blaze,” made history on Nov. 3, as the first Flagler dance team to qualify to compete on the national level, when the Universal Dance Association announced the qualifying collegiate teams for the National Dance Team Competition.
