On Nov. 1, The Art Center Premier Gallery introduced the opening of The Members Art Show, “Four Elements,” at the Bank of America Tower in downtown Jacksonville.
The Art Center Cooperative, Inc. (TAC) is a non-profit corporation that was created in order to provide the Jacksonville community with opportunities within the arts. The non-profit focuses on maintaining contingency for local artist so that they may be able to build careers through the exposure of the center.
Art Center Cooperative is run by a group of board member volunteers and welcomes over 1,500 people on First Wednesday Downtown Art Walk night.
In 2011, Art Center Cooperative opened their newest space, the Premier Gallery, in the Bank of America Tower. The gallery is used to exhibit all works of media and special events.
From Nov. 1 — Dec. 13, Premier Gallery will be hosting the “Four Elements” exhibit that will feature the works of member artists. The collection of works on display includes works of various media and pieces for sale to the public.
The exhibit is available to the public during regular gallery hours, Tuesday-Friday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
