With the completion of Hanke Hall, the continuing renovations to Wiley Hall and plans for a new academic building on the property where the Communications building now sits, the college is stirring dust on projects that have been on the planning board for years.

Just two days after announcing running mate Sen. Paul Ryan, presidential candidate Mitt Romney held a rally at Flagler College on the West Lawn this morning.
We are live at the Flagler College West Lawn waiting for presidential candidate Mitt Romney to speak at his first rally of his national bus tour, just days after announcing his running mate Paul Ryan.
Flagler College will be one of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s campaign stops Monday, Aug. 13, as the candidate begins a bus tour of the state.
Aside from the occasional asthma, Flagler student Corey Christian, 22, is in perfectly good health. So it came as a surprise when he found it harder and harder to breathe, even in his own home.
“When I was just laying in my bed and I’d have the window open and like a fan on me, just trying to get some air and I was out of breath” he said “I couldn’t stop coughing, I would actually vomit from how much I was coughing.”

It seems to be that time of year when Flagler College student’s refunds are running low and students are beginning to realize that it is time to find a job before the holiday season.

Historic Downtown St. Augustine will now get much needed restoration under the management of University of Florida.
The university was selected as part of a bill arranged by State Rep. William Proctor, who thought a partnership would better fund the projects without taxing the city.
“It occurred to me at the time that Pensacola has a number of houses of this type and that the state provides some money for their maintenance through the University of West Florida. I raised that issue and the city commission asked to see if we could pass comparable legislation,” said Proctor, District 20 Florida House Representative.
