If so then you should check out The Pearl. Located in the heart of Downtown Jacksonville, at First and Main, it has become a weekly haven for many Flagler students.


New challenge for men’s golf

This year’s golf team has a lot to live up to, after last year’s regional win and 13th place finish at nationals.

But after the move from NAIA to NCAA, teams will be on a probationary period that could last two to three years and will not have conference affiliation, meaning they will not be ranked or eligible for nationals.

City passes new law prohibiting begging in parts of historic district

Earlier this month, shopkeepers along St. George Street noticed cleaner walkways and more pleasant tourists. What was missing were the panhandlers who used to roam the streets and claim it as their territory.

Dawn, a saleswoman at the Columbia Gift Shop who declined to give her full name, was surprised to see none of the familiar faces of panhandlers outside her shop.
