Flagler College’s softball team has a lot of new faces this year. The new additions include Erin Anderson, a freshman pitcher from Lake City, Florida.
Yield Design was born in San Francisco by Andrew Deming and Rachel Gant. Deming is familiar with St. Augustine as he graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Graphic Design before moving to to the West Coast to earn his MBA in designs strategy from CCA. There he met Yield co-founder Gant, who earned her bachelor’s in industrial design with post studies at Cal Poly.
The Lincolnville Community Garden has been up and running for five years now and allows members, who donate $25 every 6 months, to have their own beds of plants. An initiative that the garden has taken on from the beginning is allowing members to compost their own food scraps to create nutrient rich compost product for their own beds.
