This year’s intramurals have already kicked off to a great start. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, co-ed softball is underway at the baseball fields on Riberia Street. Sand volleyball is Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the sand court by the swimming pool on campus. Wednesday nights are tennis night at 7 p.m. at the Tennis Center.
For those not interested in traditional athletics, ballroom dance instructions will take place for the next month on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.. in the Dining Hall.
Throughout the semester other intramurals activities will take place, including billiard tournaments, mini golf tournaments and men’s and women’s soccer and flag football.
Both the men’s and women’s flag football teams will compete in the Swamp Bowl at the University of Florida in Gainseville, on Oct. 20. Look for e-mails throughout the semester for more information.
