Flagler College men’s soccer was upset by Wingate University 2-1 in a NCAA Division II National Championships Third Round Match on Nov. 15 at Saints Field.
Flagler had been ranked No. 17 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Division II Top 25 and ended its season with a 10-5-4 record.
Wingate advanced to the national quarterfinal against No. 11 Lynn University with the winner advancing to the final four in Evans, Ga.
Flagler out-shot Wingate 10-9 and held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
