The Saints have just five matches left as the season winds down.

A loss to Concordia College on March 8 ended a two-match win streak for the men’s tennis team and left them with an uneven 3-4 record. After beginning the season 1-3, the Saints had fought back to the .500 mark with back-to-back sound wins over St. Thomas and Averett.

However, the loss to Concordia (9-0) disrupted their momentum. The doubles team of Aaron Haines and Antonio Puente (above) are 3-3 this season. The record for the Saints top 3 singles players of No. 1 Mario Jutronic, No. 2 Jeremy Lamande and No. 3 Haines mirror the 3-4 record of the team. Top doubles team Jutronic and Lamande had posted a 4-3 record through their first seven matches. The Saints have just five matches left as the season winds down. They take on Johns Hopkins and Eastern Kentucky on back to back days March 13 and 14. Two days later they return to the court to take on Army.
