The No. 2 ranked Saints found the first round of the NAIA National Championships to be a challenge Tuesday, shooting a 23 over par for a score of 311.
This puts the Saints in 24th place out of 28 teams. The Saints need to be in the top 17 to make the cut on Thursday to compete in the final day Friday. Right now the Saints are six shots out of the No. 17 spot.

The No. 2 ranked NAIA Saints look to finish their best season ever as they begin play today in the NAIA National Championship in Olathe, Kan.
The Saints have finished in the top 10 the last two years at the Prairie Highlands course and are hoping to do even better this year. According to Don Robbins, Saints head coach, the team feels it has a real opportunity to win the championship.

No, really. I have started walking like an 85-year-old woman with osteoporosis. I didn’t think it was possible to be this sore. OK, maybe that’s an exaggeration. I know it’s possible to be in a lot more pain, but I figured my lungs would go into shock long before my legs did.

Flagler College held its spring commencement ceremony April 22 and handed out more than 320 diplomas to graduating seniors. A separate ceremony for six students graduating from Flagler’s Public Administration program was held later in the day in the Flagler Room.

Florida college students will see their wallets fattened now that the state legislature has increased the Florida Resident Access Grant to $3,000 per student.
The so-called FRAG was created in 1979 by the Florida Legislature to assist Florida residents attending private colleges and universities in the state. The $3,000 dollars awarded per student this year is the highest amount in the history of the grant, according to the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida.
It’s so quiet.
Although, I have to say, I’m pretty torn about how I feel about that. The day-to-day hustle and bustle has already died down and things are quite serene on the third floor. And in the quiet (but far from peaceful) moments, I have time to focus on how sore my legs are from the four miles I walked yesterday.
