The Sheffield Crew, the newest up and coming reggae/rock band in Florida, will be playing at Jack’s BBQ in St. Augustine on November 11th from 6pm to midnight.

Hailing from from Marco Island, this 4 piece jam session have developed a reputable name all through out south Florida.

“I hope to see a big turn out of Flagler College students. I’ve heard they can bring great energy to a show and always make Sunday a truly amazing Reggae Sunday!” said lead singer Chris Jacobs.

The Sheffield crew has played concerts with artists such as Cypress Hill, Matisyahu, Pepper, Rebelution, Ky-Mani Marley, Dirty Heads, Sublime w/ Rome, Tribal Seeds, Fishbone, Passafire, The Supervillains, The Movement, Through The Roots, and Lionize.

Due to the success of their first album “When the Night Falls” The Sheffield Crew intends to grow their fan base into the northern Florida market.

They seek to continue spreading their vibe into Florida’s oldest city more on their second trip back to Saint Augustine.

During the bands first trip, they jammed at Panama Hatties with the likes of Lionize and Danka. The Sheffield attributes this return tour in promotion of their new album “A Sunny Place For Shady People”.

Their new album combines spitfire hip-hop, island rhythms, and hard driving rock and roll.

“We’re really excited about playing again in St. Augustine, the first trip was a blast and we are starting to develop a following in northeast Florida,” said Adam Simons, the band’s manager. “We plan to keep moving farther north after this concert possibly into the Jacksonville area.”

As The Sheffield Crew gains more momentum and fans, expect to see more concerts from them all throughout Florida.
