The Flagler College surf team competed in the National Scholastic Surf Association East Coast Championships this past weekend.
The team placed in third place and is not advancing to the rounds in California.

The Flagler College Surf Team prepares themselves for the National Scholastic Surf Association East Coast Championship this weekend.
As the semester continues to wind down, the surf team trains for the most important part of their season. The team will go to New Symrna in the hopes of winning. The win will allow them to advance to the next rounds of competitions, which take place in California this summer.

The only two girls on the Flagler College surf team, Katie Brady and Sara Lear continue to stand strong.
Brady, a freshman from Montauk, N.Y., and Lear, a sophomore from Ponte Vedra, Fla. are short boarders for the surf team at Flagler.

The Flagler College surf team looked to continue its success on Oct.17 at its second contest.
“We have a solid ‘A’ team and a solid ‘B’ team,” said team manager Adam Muller. “We usually don’t lose contests. We are going to win.”
