Flagler College’s softball team has a lot of new faces this year. The new additions include Erin Anderson, a freshman pitcher from Lake City, Florida.
Four-year veteran Kaylyn Loverich’s goal is simple: lead the Flagler College women’s softball team to their first ever conference title. Being one of two four-year seniors, Loverich will take it upon herself to not only be a leader on the field, but also guide her teammates off the field as well.
Education is important. But sometimes when an offer so great is reeling at your fingertips, you have no choice but to drop the ball and put it on hold. Well, in Robyn Draper’s case, “dropping the ball” is the exact opposite of what got her an offer in the first place.
With Flagler College softball coach Kristen Overton on a maternity leave of absence, Mike Sokol has a huge role ahead of him. Sokol joins Meghan Burke and Samantha Boatner as the newest assistant coach for Flagler’s softball team.

Flagler College senior Donna Munafo is proving that hard work really does pay off.
Munafo spent her high school softball career being the second or third best pitcher for Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, Florida.
The other pitchers on her high school softball team had played softball their entire life, whereas, Munafo focused her younger years on soccer and dance.

The Saints head coach Kristen Overton has the team poised to compete in a tough Peach Belt Conference.
Currently, the Saints are ranked 5th in the Peach Belt Conference.

Freshman, Kalyn Loverich, continues to work hard for the Flagler College softball team.
Loverich, from Jacksonville, started playing softball at the age of 8. She attended Bartram Trail High School and fell in awe with Flagler College when she visited last year. Loverich is now a pitcher for the Saints.
