On Tuesday, Feb. 23, the Student Government Association meeting focused on a new club grant, a few general announcements and some club updates. SGA President David Matulewicz reaffirmed his best wishes for tomorrow’s presentation of the Attendance Policy proposal to the Faculty Senate.

Student Government Association will soon allow students to weigh in on how SGA should spend its money.
SGA President David Matulewicz announced this during his executive report at Tuesday night’s SGA meeting. He said a mass e-mail will be sent to students with the current balance of each committee’s budget. SGA is asking students to send in thoughts on how it should spend committee money.
Flagler College attendance policy up for debate

Student Government Association announced two officer positions available to any Flagler College student.
The two positions are second chair for Green Committee and second chair for Publicity.

Dean of Student Services Daniel Stewart made a special appearance at Student Government Association’s first meeting of the new semester to discuss plans for revising smoking restrictions on campus.
He and several other administrators, including Flagler College President William T. Abare, Jr., have discussed the smoking problem on campus and came up with a three-part amendment to the current policy.

This week’s Student Government Association meeting ended with President David Matulewicz thanking all the members for their support. This was the last meeting of the semester.

Toni Alfiero presented the idea of a Yearbook Club at Flagler College to the Student Government Association Nov 17. SGA members were concerned with expenses and details of the club and voted for rejecting the club.
