With the season rapidly approaching, women’s basketball head coach Erika Lang Montgomery has her team in high gear.

Last season, Flagler College Saints Men’s basketball player Matt Clark expected that he wouldn’t get much playing time since he was a freshman.
“I initially felt that I was going to be the 6th or 7th man and come off the bench and be a three point threat,” Clark said.

The Flagler women’s soccer team celebrated the athletic careers of six seniors recently.
Loren Cate, Amanda Slevin, Cristina Coca, Lindsay Zullo and Marisa Strawn were honored for the four years they spent on the team.

Juggling a demanding profession with a strong family life is challenging for anyone, but a day in the life of Teddy Meyer may be more hectic than many caneven imagine.
Teddy Meyer is in his eighth season as the head women’s soccer coach at FlaglerCollege and up until the summer of last year, his seemingly chaotic life was relatively normal for any collegiate coach; daily practices, recruiting duties, scouting reports, then putting all coaching aside to go home to a wife and son.

The Flagler College Saints volleyball team showed that they were not a pushover Tuesday night against No. 7 (AVCA Division II Top 25) University of Tampa.
The Spartans of Tampa defeated Flagler College 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-21) at the Flagler Gymnasium.

The Flagler Saints volleyball will start the season as most teams’ primary target.
Last season, the Saints went on an improbable run to the NCAA Division II National Tournament Elite Eight, only to fall short to the eventual National Champion Coyotes of California State San Bernardino College.

Flagler College senior Donna Munafo is proving that hard work really does pay off.
Munafo spent her high school softball career being the second or third best pitcher for Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, Florida.
The other pitchers on her high school softball team had played softball their entire life, whereas, Munafo focused her younger years on soccer and dance.

The Saints head coach Kristen Overton has the team poised to compete in a tough Peach Belt Conference.
