Construction workers began site clearing for Flagler College’s new $11.6 million Student Center last week, including tearing down the tennis courts at the corner of King and Sevilla Streets. The center will house Student Services, a food court, faculty offices, an Internet café, the campus book store and a theater-style classroom. Construction is expected to last 14 months, and Sevilla Street will become one-way to the south throughout the project.
