SGA attendance policy to present to Faculty Senate

On Tuesday, Feb. 23, the Student Government Association meeting focused on a new club grant, a few general announcements and some club updates. SGA President David Matulewicz reaffirmed his best wishes for tomorrow’s presentation of the Attendance Policy proposal to the Faculty Senate.




The Closet owner threads life, business with personality

Cassandra Helton, owner of The Closet and designer of the fashion line Helton Hill, is headed to the “big time.”

With her line now being sold across the country, a new showroom opening in Maine and her joining the social networking craze, this is the year, her mom, Guyanna Erklens, said. “Cassandra is gonna blow up.”




A capella band stops in St. Augustine on Florida tour

VoiceMale, a nine-person all-male a capella group from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass., performed in downtown St. Augustine last week on its yearly spring tour.

VoiceMale tour manager and member Aiden Horowitz said the group was touring Florida for a week, singing in cities such as Miami, Jupiter, and here in St. Augustine.
