SIFE hits home with new project

Flagler College’s Students In Free Enterprise team will be hosting Cardboard Campout on the West Lawn on Friday, April 2 to raise awareness and money for its newest project, “Containers for a Cause.”

With “Containers for a Cause,” SIFE plans to build homeless transitional housing facilities from about 15 to 20 old railroad shipping containers. SIFE has already received one 40-foot shipping container, a donation from former St. Augustine mayor George Gardner.

Women’s basketball looks to work hard in off-season

The Flagler basketball season comes to an end. With the experience of one year in a conference under their belt, the women’s basketball team are ready to prepare for next year.



SGA: Student Life proposes change

Student Life Committee proposed some big changes around campus at the March 9 Student Government Association meeting.

Committee leader Kyle Jennette proposed an online add/drop form, more efficient registration and a relaxed inter-dorm visitation policy, among other things.

Taylor Swift dazzles Orlando

When I stepped into the Amway Arena Friday night in Orlando I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. Who is this Taylor Swift girl, I thought, and why is Kanye West not a fan?

It was not long before I realized there is a reason why Swift is as successful as she is. The 20-year-old country crooner’s performance outshined country stars like Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney with her nearly two-hour, high-energy show.
