Even when I was a kid, the shelves in my room were always overflowing with books. I read everything from The Boxcar Children to The Babysitters’ Club, Tallahassee Higgins to Harriet the Spy. My parents raised me to be a voracious reader, and that’s never changed.

Recently, a man commented on photos taken of me for a local company’s website. While I usually never have problems on social media, his comments were negative and discriminatory. Flagler volleyball started the season with some big changes. Matt Affolder was named the new women’s volleyball head coach in March of 2014. Affolder has been coaching college volleyball for 14 years and Flagler College is the first Division II school Affolder has coached.
