It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and it’s back here in St. Augustine.

The 2nd annual Winter Wonderland is going on every night at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre from Nov. 21 to Jan. 4. This year, the Winter Wonderland experience holds twice the enchantment with additional lights, a giant 20-foot Christmas tree, and the all new Ice Slide.

Every night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., come out to ice skate, take a sleigh ride, or visit with Santa Clause. Trying to save on cash? No worries, admission into the Amphitheatre is free, as is admission to some of the events, including the Elf Village.

Show off your skating skills at the outdoor ice rink. It is $10 to skate, and $2 for a pair of rental skates.

The new Ice Slide is the first outdoor slide compatible with warm climates in the United States. Experience the thrill from two stories up, as you speed down the 100 foot ice slide by yourself or race your friends. The cost to slide is $3 for one slide, and $5 for three slides.

Winter Wonderland lives up to its name as “snow” falls nightly at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. You can also stop by and get your picture taken with Santa from 6 to 8 p.m. Make sure to bring your wish lists and drop them off at Santa’s mail box. Santa will be available only until Christmas, so hurry down to see if you are on the nice list.

The Amphitheatre is located at 1340 C A1A South. For more information, call (904) 471-1965 or visit www.staugamphitheatre.com/winterwonderland.

Be sure to check the Winter Wonderland Hours of Operation, as times may change due to the holidays.
