Red Jumpsuit Apparatus stops through St. Augustine December 7

North Florida natives, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, announced that they will be making a stop in St. Augustine on Dec. 7th at The Standard, a new music venue in town.

“Most of the people who come to our North Florida shows are family and friends so it’s like playing in the jam room again, which rocks,” lead Winter said.

“We’re real excited to bring some big names like The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus down to St. Augustine now that the Standard has opened up. We plan on having tons of talented artists, bands and DJs do their thing for what will definitely be some great crowds,” The Standard’s co-owner Adam Amoia said.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have played shows in Florida with many artists such as, Taking Back Sunday, Saosin, The Used, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Emery and 30 Seconds to Mars to name just a few.

“Most of the people who come to our North Florida shows are family and friends so it’s like playing in the jam room again which rocks,” lead singer Ronnie Winter said.

The Standard can hold just under 300 people, allowing fans to get up close and personal to the band rather than the setting at a larger festival or concert where the band can sometimes appear the size of ants up on stage.

“Playing bigger shows is usually always fun, but the biggest thing for me is crowd reaction in general. I’d rather play a room with 100 kids going nuts than 1,000 people just standing there,” lead guitarist Josh Burke said.
