As the hot Florida weather begins to cool down and ease into fall, there could be no better time to pack up your tent and head to a music festival.

The Bear Creek Music Festival will be held this weekend in Live Oak at the Southeast’s most beautiful venue, the Suwannee Music Park. Headlining names include music festival favorites Moe. and Umphrey’s Mcgee.

Music genres range from jazz, reggae, hip-hop and folk rock, but all create the eccentric experience of Beer Creek Festival. Also playing will be Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Lettuce, Soulive, The New Mastersounds, Perpetual Groove, Toubab Krewe and John Brown’s Body.

The Suwannee Music Park includes many activities to enhance the festival experience such as camping, hiking, canoe trips, a craft village, disc golf, and even a honey bee observation exhibit.
This is the fourth annual Bear Creek festival and should provide a wonderful musical experience.
