Flagler men’s cross country senior Corey Mundy is heading back to the Div. II NCAA National Championships after finishing fourth overall at the Southeast Regional on Nov. 22.
Mundy earned his second consecutive all-region honors after finishing the 10K with a time of 31:39.56. He finished just over 16 seconds behind the regional champion.
He will now compete at nationals on Dec. 6 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mundy also ran in last year’s championship at Spokane, Washington.
The men’s cross country team finished in seventh place at the 10K regional at the University of Montevallo.
The women’s cross country team finished in fifth place with 176 points at the 6K NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Saturday morning at the University of Montevallo to conclude their season.
