Love Your Mother Fashion show promotes sustainability, charity

Wine corks, soda tabs and landscaping fabric—who knew commonly trashed items could be turned into the latest fashion statement?

The Love Your Mother Eco Fashion Show by Panache is not your ordinary fashion show—it will make attendees think twice about items you would normally throw out.

The goal of this one-of-a-kind event is to raise awareness on the conservation of the environment. All proceeds will benefit Home Again St. Johns, a nonprofit that helps to alleviate homelessness in St. Johns County.

Tickets are $45 and all proceeds are donated. The show aims to collect $50,000 in all. However, thanks to the overwhelming support, their goal is already reaching the halfway mark.

The LYM fashion show is approaching quickly on Sept. 20 at Volkswagen of St. Augustine, with the curtain at 8 p.m.
