Yoga focuses on the physical and mental part of your body, making it an activity favored among students at Flagler.
“I love yoga because it relaxes my body and muscles and gives me a great workout at the same time,” said senior Amanda Cassella. “I have a hard time making it to the scheduled classes because I have such a hectic schedule.”
Luckily, St. Augustine has a wide selection of yoga centers located near campus. Each yoga center offers classes throughout the day with varying levels of difficulty. The only problem a student may face are the high prices that usually come with an off-campus exercise class.
“I would be interested in doing yoga off-campus if there were student rates offered because I have to work on a budget being a full time student,” said junior Eric Strasser.
Listed below are yoga centers closest to campus, their rates and their websites for more information:
– Discovery Yoga, located at 3 Davis St. Discovery Yoga offers a student rate of only $10 per class. Their website is http://www.discoveryyoga.com.
