While Mumford and others rocked the big stage at Francis Field this weekend, free shows covered St. Augustine like never before, with three downtown stages.
The Lightner Museum glowed vibrantly in blues and purples featuring bands such as Lucio Rubino, Flagship Romance, Grandpa’s Cough Medicine and the Del McCoury Band. Bands in the gazebo played all day starting at 3 p.m. Couples lay on the grass, bikers stopped to enjoy a song or two and families packed picnics for dinner. The Aviles Street stage provided music to all of the restaurant guests seated outside.
