New talent expected to fortify mens soccer

Head Coach John Lynch is honored that his team has won the Peach Belt Conference, but knows they have a lot of work ahead.

“I think it is a mark of the success we had last year, yet it means absolutely nothing for this year,” Lynch said.


Volleyball prepares for fall

The Flagler College volleyball team is paving a road to another successful season.

For the off-season, head Coach Taylor Mott plans on applying a well rounded conditioning regiment as well as signing new players to replace the talent lost in graduating seniors.




Flagler football team still undefeated

Flagler just wrapped up another amazing football season after defeating the UNF Ospreys in a nail biter. The Saints trailed for most of what was one of the best games in Flagler history.

With three seconds left in the fourth quarter, Saints quarterback Gavin Richardson threw a bomb deep down the field to a crowded end zone. Somehow, from out of the crowd, Antonio Marconi managed to catch the pigskin after it was deflected off of a UNF defenders helmet.


‘Voice of the Saints’ impacts Flagler athletics

I remember when I first met Clay Coffman my freshman year. I was sitting in the Lewis lobby watching SportsCenter on the free cable provided by Flagler when Clay and a few other sports fanatics walked in talking about the past Heisman Trophy winners, a Flagler intramural game or just trash talking each other about their favorite college football team. Whatever it was, it involved sports.


Alumni, students form Rugby team

St. Augustine has got a new sport in town: Rugby.

The team was founded by Flagler alumni Sean May and since has quickly been built up to a 30-man roster. Among this roster is Flagler student Josh Thompson is also the team’s treasurer.




Tennis teams show success

The Flagler men’s and women’s tennis teams are off to a successful start this spring season.

As the men hold a 9-4 record, and the women a 10-2 record, post-season play looks better and better.
