I am a child of Martin Cooper. If the name doesn’t ring a bell (pun very intended), Cooper was the inventor of the first commercially available cell phone, the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x. The DynaTAC weighed in at nearly two pounds, making it a stretch to actually call the phone mobile.
