Wiley Hall repair schedule depends on ‘historic status’

The costs and methods of repair for Wiley Hall’s damage depend on two things: whether the building is considered “historical” and whether the damage affected the building’s structure.


Student car accident damages Wiley Hall

A female student drove her car through the columns in front of Wiley Hall this morning at about 9:15.

The Flagler College maintenance department will replace the destroyed columns with wooden beams until they can be repaired.


Meteor shower dazzles night sky

The annual Leonid meteor shower peaked early Nov. 17.

St. Augustine residents and all of North America had the chance to experience the concentrated showers before dawn. Although the shower peaked Tuesday, the shower is expected to continue until Nov. 21.

AIKEN, S.C. − Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian) recorded a match-high 13 kills on 30 errorless swings for a .433 attack percentage to help lead Flagler College to a 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-23) win over Armstrong Atlantic State University Sunday afternoon in the championship match of the 2009 Peach Belt Conference Tournament at the Convocation Center. Flagler is in its first year as a member of the Peach Belt.
