There isn’t a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, but you will find one of St. Augustine’s most popular sandals. Flagler College freshman, Jamie Greco, agrees with the popularity and admits she has three pairs in her closet.

Sweets are universal. They are the feel-good food. Few people can truly say no to them. Sometimes a little comfort food is necessary in these times of fearful surveillance, incomprehensible warfare in other countries and political uncertainty.

With all of this going on, people still go about their lives on the smaller scale.


Weight Room 101

Entering the weight room can be very intimidating if you have never worked out. There are cardio machines, free weights and miscellaneous equipment. Where does one start? Flagler fitness teacher, women’s cross-country coach and personal trainer, Christy Castelli sheds some light on this intimidating venture.

Just like having an amazing meal for dinner, there is essential prep-work.




Movie review: Alice in Wonderland

The movie that everyone has been waiting for finally arrived March 5th at midnight.

Expectations were pretty high for Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” to match former adaptations of the book by Lewis Carroll. Some say they were disappointed, but it was love at first sight for me.



Taylor Swift dazzles Orlando

When I stepped into the Amway Arena Friday night in Orlando I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. Who is this Taylor Swift girl, I thought, and why is Kanye West not a fan?

It was not long before I realized there is a reason why Swift is as successful as she is. The 20-year-old country crooner’s performance outshined country stars like Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney with her nearly two-hour, high-energy show.
