Over 25,000 tickets have been sold for the fall Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers tour that will bring Mumford and Sons to Francis Field in St. Augustine.
For a city with a population of only about 13,000, it’s a big deal to land a concert tour like this.

St. Augustine residents and fans across the country were shocked and excited to hear that popular English folk band Mumford and Sons added St. Augustine to their 2013 tour. Mumford and Sons are scheduled to play in a two-day music festival coming up Sept. 13-14 on Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine. This will be the closing concert of their summer “Gentlemen of the Road Stopover” tour.

Michigan-born, Brazilian-blooded brother-sister act Blondfire has been getting a lot of attention recently. Comprised of Erica and Bruce Driscoll, their first single, “Where The Kids Are,” has been taken notice by Rolling Stone and Sirius satellite radio, thanks in part to Erica’s etheral voice.

As students and faculty know, the Flagler College campus is jam-packed with historical charm and has a strong visual appeal to visitors and tourists.
