The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is high gear this season, with free films, art festivals, farmers markets and several big-name artists scheduled to perform.
On April 10, Hall & Oates will take the stage, and a week later on April 17, Joe Cocker will play.
The Beach Boys will usher in the summer on April 24, followed by rock group 311 on April 30, Hall of Famer James Taylor on May 1, and indie rockers Kings of Leon on May 4.
Upcoming films for the free Night Owl Cinema Series are classics — “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” on May 15, and “Dirty Dancing” on June 5.
The Amphitheatre will also host the Florida’s First Coast Arts Festival from May 18 to 24.
This kick-off annual event will bring together musicians, performers and artists from around the region.
Performances during the six-day event include “A Night at the Opera,” “Pride and Prejudice” and “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare abridged.”
