Hurricane season is in full swing as the semester starts. Luckily we were spared from this season’s first major hurricane, Irene. However that doesn’t mean the threat is gone.

Are you prepared?
Fortunately with hurricanes we have some advanced notice as to their arrival, but it is never to soon to start planning.
-Should you evacuate?
-Is your home strong enough to stand up to a storm?
-What supplies do you need to keep on hand?

The answers to many of these questions can be found at the National Hurricane Center’s website

Are you informed?
It is recommended that you keep up to date of weather conditions, storm locations, and possible weather related dangers.
