Flagler College radio station WFCF 88.5 FM began streaming online last month via iHeartRadio, a Clear Channel Radio network, which gives access to live, local radio stations around the nation.
Recently, WFCF was voted by the Princeton Review to be one of the top 20 college stations in the country. This recognition, along with the hard work of the students who help run the station and WFCF’s manager, Dan McCook, has earned the non-commercial, educational radio station a contract with iHeartRadio.
“Everyone here is absolutely thrilled,” says McCook “The iHeart app is in the top ten of applications that are out there… so it’s quite an honor.”
WFCF joins over a dozen of the leading college radio stations, making it easier for college radio fans from all over to tune in online or via mobile phone to over 800 commercial-free stations.
WFCF Flagler College Radio will be available on the iHeart Radio app by the end of March.
