Forum series continues

Mark Murray, Deputy Political Director for NBC News, started the spring segment of the Flagler College Forum on Government and Public Policy on Tuesday, Jan. 27 with a discussion titled “The Future of the Republican Party.”

His lecture in the Flagler College Auditorium was the first of a series of four guests who will visit the college over the course of the semester.

Edie Lederer, Chief United Nations Correspondent for the Associated Press, will speak on Thursday, Feb. 12. Her topic will be “Ignoring International News at Your Peril.”

Tuesday, March 24, AARP Bulletin Editor, Jim Toedtman will visit. He will discuss “What Happened to Obama’s Agenda.”

The final speaker will be Cindy Skrzycki, Columnist, Bloomberg. On Wednesday, April 1, she will cover “The Real Work of Government in the Obama Administration.”

All forums are held at 7 p.m. in the Flagler College Auditorium. The lectures are free and open to the public, and interpreters are present for the hearing impaired.
