Virtuoso saxophonist Ashu will perform with pianist Kuang-Hao Huang at the Flagler College Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 8 p.m., sponsored by the EMMA Concert Association.
Ashu has found success and acclaim with concert tours across the United States, Scandinavia, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and the Baltic region. His concert repertoire includes works by Jacques Ibert, Alexander Glazunov, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Claude Debussy, as well as his own arrangements of works by Astor Piazzolla, Jules Demersseman and Ennio Morricone.
He tours regularly as a soloist with orchestras throughout the United States and Europe, most recently with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Metropolitan Orchestra of Lisbon, Carnegie Hall, and the Vienna Konzerthaus.
