Flagler College PRSSA will host a benefit concert Nov. 18 at the Foundry for it’s annual charity event. The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. All proceeds go to the Cancer Care Program of Flagler Hospital. The event is open to the public and will include a raffle and silent auction.

While PRSSA is raising money for Cancer Care Program, they’re also helping promote local bands as well. The bands featured are headliner Chillula, The Dewars, Mark Dobies and Soulo.

This is the first ever Stand Against Cancer fundraiser held by PRSSA. President Carlie Fair is pleased to host this event.

“I am so excited for this year’s Stand Against Cancer event because we are changing things up. In the past, we have hosted a field day type event, but this year, we are very excited to host the very first Stand Against Cancer concert. I’m eager to see the amount of money we can raise for the Cancer Care Program at Flagler Hospital,” she said.

The Foundry is located at 1955 A1A South St. Augustine. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. For more information, visit facebook.com/fcprsssa
