From April 3 to 5, the Annual Rhythm and Ribs Festival will be held downtown.
Come out and see why it has been voted Best Festival for the last eight years. Lots of food, entertainment and arts and crafts will be provided all weekend. Dogs and other pets are not allowed.
Friday’s music will include a disc jockey and the Red River Band. On Saturday, Shery & the Psychodelics, Stormy Weather Blues, Spektra, and J.W. Gilmore & the Blues Authority will play. Special guest Leon Russell will take the stage at 8 p.m. Sunday’s musical entertainment will be Funk Shui and The Falling Bones.
The festivities last from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets for Friday and Sunday are $2, and Saturday tickets are $5. The Festival will be held at Francis Field on Castillo Drive, next to the downtown parking garage. For more information, call (904) 540-1786.
