For college students in a struggling economy, it is important to find what is needed for cheap. Who has the money to go to the Avenues Mall in Jacksonville every weekend, anyway?
On Saturday, Feb. 28, to combat monetary ills, the community of Water Street, in downtown St. Augustine, will come together to hold multiple garage sales from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
They will feature practical items, such as clothes, knickknacks and appliances, for reasonable prices. It is a thrifty and fun way to shop.
If you spend some time, you can surely find some great treasures. Flagler students are more than welcome. Water Street is located near Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Museum.
There is plenty of parking, and there is sure to be a plethora of goodies. Come on out, bring some extra change, enjoy the day and acquire some much-needed household supplies!
