The Florida Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi inducted 36 students on March 6.
According to Connie St. Clair-Andrews, the faculty co-sponsor, the purpose of the coeducational society is to “promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction.”
The honor society admits only the top 10 percent of the junior and senior classes.
