In my years competing for the coveted gray shirts, I have learned that students give effort beyond reasonable expectations to become champions of their favorite sport.


Flag football: serious business at Flagler College

At Flagler College, one of the biggest complaints is the lack of a football team. Students have found a way to cope with this though by turning to intramural football.

Jeff Greene, a student who participates in flag football, said it is the most popular intramural sport at Flagler College and is also the intramural game taken the most seriously.


Building relationships on intramural fields

Mike Roberson, director of intramurals at Flagler College, has been all around the United States starting in Birmingham, Ala. He has over 30 years of experience in sports and recreation and has brought that experience to Flagler.

Roberson has been a tennis instructor and director of intramurals at Flagler for 13 years. He came to Florida because he knew friends in the area and in his time at the college he has built a great relationship with the students.
