National Geographic chose St. Augustine’s annual Nights of Lights celebration in 2011 and 2012 as one of the ten best holiday lighting displays in the world. Every year the celebration brings over 8,000 people to St. Augustine and creates a sense of Christmas magic in downtown St. Augustine.
Flagler College men’s cross country star Corey Mundy has made a name for himself. On Oct. 26, Mundy broke Flagler College’s 8K record with a time of 24:29.75, according to Flagler Athletics.

There is more than one reason that local farmer’s markets, community gardens, heirloom fruits and vegetables and seasonal foods have gained in popularity. Meeting your food in this way creates a connection. It adds value that is lost in the industrial, consumerist agricultural system.
