Last week’s game against the Titans angered me and I’m sure plenty of other Jags fans as well. It was another Jekyll and Hyde performance from Blake Bortles and the offense, and it was a tale of two weeks for them as they ran riot against New England but couldn’t catch a pass in week three.

Dropped passes and missed throws were the story of week three, but the Jets aren’t in much better shape. The team is coming off a loss to the Cleveland Browns (!) in which rookie Baker Mayfield torched their defense.

As far fans know, Leonard Fournette is a “50-50 call” for the game as Head Coach Doug Marrone said in this week’s press conference. However, Fournette tweeted, but subsequently deleted “See y’all Sunday” which could indicate he feels ready to play. This offense works much better with strong runners, and Fournette brings a bruising game to Jacksonville. With the addition of Fournette, this team should easily cruise to a victory here, and be 3-1 going into week five.

However, if he does not play, the offense runs the risk of a Jekyll and Hyde performance once again against New York. However, the defense will not have to worry about a mobile quarterback burning them with improvisation this week with Sam Darnold. Darnold has thrown multiple picks in two straight weeks and the Jags secondary should be licking their chops. If they create pressure, they should have a field day with this young Jets offense. All in all, this should be a simple, straightforward win against the Jets.

Score Prediction: Jags 24- Jets 7
