For the second year, The Gargoyle and DOW Advantage will publish Anthology, the best of journalism, public relations, opinion and photography at Flagler College.
The competition is open to all Flagler students. Entries in the following categories are now being accepted:
– News
– Features
– Opinion — Personal Essay
– Opinion — Commentary
– Public Relations (feature story, news/press release, campaign, poster, ad, blog post)
– Photography — Single Photo
– Photography — Photo Essay
This is a great opportunity to showcase your best work, and get it published. Winning entries will be published in the full-color Anthology edition to be released in April. Entries are judged by members of the Flagler College Communication Department.
To be considered, please email your entry to CChowske@flagler.edu by March 2. The pieces can be previously published and must have been written since March 2011. Only one submission per category please. Note the category in your email.
The student who produces the work voted best all-around will receive the Grand Award, as well as $100 and an iPod or digital camera.
The winners of each category and the overall top prize will be announced during the anthology launch party in April.
