Matt Clark led the way for Flagler on Nov. 19, sinking six three pointers and scoring 24 as Flagler dropped Trinity 108-78.

John Bianchi of Trinity also sank six of his threes and scored 24 points, but it was not enough to keep up with the Saints’ offense. The Saints held their lead throughout the entire game, not giving the Tigers anything to work with.

Also highlighting the Saints’ box score was Ante Gospic, Chad July and Addison Smith, each recording a double-double. Gospic scored 17 points and 11 rebounds, while July scored 12 points and 12 rebounds. Smith almost recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds.

Rasheed Hall came off the bench to add 14 points and six assists.

Flagler averaged 47.8 percent from behind the arc, scoring 11 out of 23 three-pointers. Trinity only averaged 43.8 percent.

The Saints towered over the smaller Tigers, dominating the inside game as well, out-rebounding 52-30 and out-scoring 58-12 in the paint.

The closest that Trinity was able to get to Flagler’s dominating lead was after the half when Gregory Buckshon converted several free throws to bring the Tigers within nine points. The Saints then went on a 28-7 run, during which Clark dropped all six of his threes.

The Saints have are now 4-0 after a win against the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Pierdras Nov. 21. Flagler’s next game is in Melbourne against District Columbia on Nov. 25.
