The team did incredible at the presentation this morning at 9. The presentation was on, the question and answer went great and the visual was perfect. We are about to go and eat with the executives and other teams. Right now, we’re at a career fair.
We ran into a number of Flagler alumni including Amy Waers, who works at Sam’s Club.
We’ll update again soon, but we’re really busy right now.

After arriving early in North Carolina, we ate lunch at an amazing deli near our hotel.
After lunch we went over to the conference center. Where we ran into Morgan Clevanger from SIFE headquarters; we traveledl with him to Berlin in October. We also saw our new regional coordinator, Brittany Attwood Dennis at the conference center. It is great to run into people we know!

We arrived at our hotel in Charlotte, NC at one o’clock, after a seven hour bus ride from St. Augustine. The ride was quiet, most of the team stayed up the night before and packed or worked on the presentation.
We left at 7 and had a massive bagel and donut breakfast on the bus.

The last day of practice went great today. Yesterday, we performed a formal presentation for some of the college staff and they loved it. We’ll be meeting at 6:30 in the morning for the seven hour road trip to Charlotte, NC. The 40 team members are hoping to get some sleep on the ride up along with some Q&A and presentation practice.

With many designers incorporating ruffles into their runway looks, it’s safe to say this fun and flirty trend is still “haute” this spring season.
In the market for a new camera, computer or phone? Electronics are one of the hardest things to pick out yet the one of the easiest to get a good deal on. Between all the options, stores and online comparisons, shopping for electronics is confusing but if you put your mind to it you can really come across some good buys.

Hear the interview with Lighthouse Music’s Davis Hart, who tells us about the band, their influences and future plans.
So there is style, then there is fashion, and then there is what everyone else wears. Today, I will be looking into a classic computer geek’s stylish apparel. The amazing thing about this type of individual is that they really do not care what everyone else is wearing much less what everyone thinks they should wear. This fact alone almost nullifies any purpose of writing a fashion piece about them.
The Pink Floyd Dome took over the Flagler College student center on Monday, Feb. 15.
The dome, set up between the pool room and the Gamache-Koger room, played a series of Pink Floyd music complete with a view of psychedelic imagery to accompany it. The Campus Activities Board featured albums including The Dark Side of The Moon, The Wall and Entranced as well as music from artists such as Audioslave, U2 and Coldplay.
Today’s amazing free download for windows is CCleaner by Piriform.
Continuing on with the “make your computer run happier” theme CCleaner is a three in one fixer-upper. It is available for download from www.CCleaner.com. This program has three great attributes, it can clean out old files, similar to the Disk Cleaner already on your windows machine, it can uninstall programs much faster and easier than the windows uninstaller and it can clear out your registry. Go ahead and head over to CCleaner.com To download this free program, then follow the install wizard through the installation.

Alternative rock band Wilco has a great new album, and out of their seven studio albums, this one is the best for new listeners.
“This can’t be real,” was the thought that kept running in my mind as I lay on golden sand the consistency of flour in the middle of January. The big, curving palm trees shading the sand from the warm sun were bright green and full of lime green coconuts the size of soccer balls. The water was various colors of blue ranging from aqua and turquoise to ultramarine and cobalt and as it tossed around the seashells on shore, all I could do was soak in the beauty of the closest thing to paradise I’ve ever been.
There is no better song than Jackson Browne’s, “Running on empty”, to describe senior year at Flagler college.
With cool temperatures lingering, tights are the perfect wardrobe piece to keep you and your legs warm!
The style dilemma that we all have during the winter months is showing our pasty legs, but tights are the perfect solution for looking cute and stylish while still being
practical.
Campus Activities Board announced Bands On The Lawn, a free outdoor concert scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m. on the West Lawn.
The concert is free, but event organizers will be collecting monetary donations for Haiti relief. The artists as well as CAB members agreed that all proceeds would go towards helping Haiti victims in their time of need.
