Good article Lauren, took me forever to find it! Made some valid points I thought it was a good read. One thing though, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints does believe in the Virgin birth, no biggie. Congrats on the article!

I think that we really shouldn’t judge other people on their religion. If the polls are true about 64% of people being uncomfortable about a Muslim, then Romney has a better chance of being president than Obama in religious terms. I am a Mormon by the way,and I will share my testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one true church of God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ.

Although I was a bit put-off by the broad assumptions implied at the beginning of this article and the ridiculous definition of a cult as “a group of people that would claim to be Christians but would add new revelation to the Bible and would deny one of the major doctrines of their Christian faith” by the Presbyterian pastor, considering that is by no means a comprehensive or functioning definition, this article made a lot of really good points by the end.
