Flagler College students are hosting the second annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza, a fundraiser to raise money for the Children’s Home Society of Florida on Friday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The extravaganza will cost $40 per person, which includes transportation to and from shops in historic downtown St. Augustine as well as lunch at La Pentola. Each participating venue will donate up to 20 percent of the proceeds earned from guests’ purchases to the Children’s Home Society of Florida and Healthy Families of St. Johns County.

The following stores in historic downtown St. Augustine will participate in the event:

Goldfinch, Down the Rabbit Hole, W.B. Tatter, St. Augustine Paper Company, Spanish Dutch Convoy, Declaration Boutique, Anchor, Fendi, Tre Sebastian, Rochelles, Whetstones Chocolate, The Spice and Tea Exchange, The Gifted Cork, Go Fish and H.W. Davis

Guests will then be escorted by trolley to La Pentola restaurant to enjoy a Latin and Mediterranean lunch in the heart of downtown St. Augustine.  Store purchases will be gift-wrapped and delivered to the guests during lunch at La Pentola. Each guest will also receive special goodie bag items.

The Children’s Home Society of Florida is a non-profit organization providing service to children and their families to protect children from abuse, neglect, or abandonment by finding safe homes for children. They have partnered with Healthy Families of St. Johns County to help make a difference in the community, to encourage strong parent and child relationships and to support children’s health and development
