Restaurant Review: The Gourmet Hut

By Desiree Hahn | gargoyle@flagler.edu

Visit the Gourmet Hut for an exquisite outing and enjoy a pleasurable meal consisting of a variety of meal options including bagels, sandwiches and salads. Enjoy a scrumptious sandwich to order or try a Breakfast Burrito from the all day breakfast menu.

I recommend the Avocado Delight, at only $4.95, it’s a delicious meal including an avocado sandwich, a side of tortilla chips and choice from variety of hummus dips. Meals are reasonably priced, averaging about $5 to $6 per meal.

Eat in the relaxing outdoor sitting area. The atmosphere is casual and inviting and features nice lighting and vines framing the entrance.

“The atmosphere of the Gourmet Hut is cozy and welcoming. It’s like the kitchen of the Italian grandmother I never had,” said Hiller Goodspeed, Flagler student.

It’s “Delicious. Top-notch,” said Danny Papageorge, restaurant patron.

Make the Gourmet Hut your next lunch stop, whether it’s for a quick bite to eat or with a crowd. The Gourmet Hut is located at 17 Cuna Street. Hours are Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
