		<description><![CDATA[The 400th Anniversary of St. Augustine, in 1965. was the greatest disaster in the history of tourism here, because it was planned and celebrated on a all-white basis.  I hope that the 450th will not make the same mistake.  The middle year of the celebration, 2014, will be the 50th anniversary of the civil rights movement in St. Augustine, that drew national attention and inspired the world.  If it is not the main focus of that year, we will have missed a great opportunity and shown, sadly, that we still do not adequately appreciate our rich black heritage.]]></description>
